Your Personal Fitness Plan

You probably know already that being fit is very important in our lives. Your level of fitness is the single most important factor in determining your quality of life as well as your lifespan here on earth. This explains why the fitness industry is a multi-billion dollar industry. There are countless personalities out there peddling all sorts of weight loss and fitness products such as books, CDs and DVDs. Of course, not all are worth your time and money, but each shares a message: it is important to be fit if you want to enjoy life to the fullest.
If you have tried following a fitness plan in the past but failed to stick with it, then you are not alone. Many people have strayed from the fitness path, but it is not too late for you to make a return.

It is easy to start following a fitness plan. After all, the initial stages are always filled with excitement. When you are starting on a fitness plan, you are still high as you consider the possible results from your new endeavor. Don’t make the mistake of thinking though that the feeling of excitement will last. Sooner or later you will dread going to the gym and you will hate your diet.
This is where motivation comes in and why it is important to ground your fitness plan on things that are really important such as health. You may be motivated to stay in good health until you grow old rather than merely having six pack abs. Whatever works for you, use that as motivation.
No Time for Exercise
The most common reason for not exercising is not having enough time for working out, but any fitness expert will tell you that this is not a valid reason. If you really want to become fit, you will make time for exercise. If you are a morning person, then one of the things that you can do is simply to wake up earlier than usual and use the extra time for workout. If you are a night person, then what you can do is to workout at night instead of just drinking with your buddies.
There are also exercise routines that literally just takes minutes. One of the best examples of these is rebounding.
