My name is Matt Keegan and I am the “admin” behind Jet Venue.

Jet Venue was launched by me in September 2006 as an employment board for members of the business aviation community. Sometime in 2007 I shut the site down in favor of working with a handful of other sites I was managing at the time, but I retained the domain just in case I wanted to redevelop the site.

In March 2010, the new Jet Venue was launched which is what you are reading right now.

I got my start in business aviation in 1992 when I began to work for Executive Air Fleet (EAF), an affiliate of Jet Aviation as a technical writer. My chief responsibilities included updating pilot, cabin crew and maintenance technician manuals and writing newsletters for each group.

In 1997,  EAF was closed down and I began to work for New World Jet Corporation, another company affiliated with Jet Aviation. My job responsibilities grew and changes over the next five years and in August 2002 I launched the first of more than a dozen aviation websites–the Corporate Flight Attendant Community.

After setting up my own business in November 2002, I began to develop websites, write web content for businesses and establish myself in online marketing and social networking.  My work goes well beyond business aviation, but I always seem to be drawn back to the world of private jets. I guess you can keep me out of the jet, but you can’t take my interest in business aviation away from me.
